What is your favorite part about Cloud 9 Software?

My favorite part about Cloud 9 is that it is (relatively) bombproof. Unlike having a server in the office that is reliant on technical prowess, having a cloud-based server means all of the technical interface is handled by someone else.  No pesky backups or full hard drives to worry about. Even the hardware is interchangeable; one computer for another internet-enabled device without having to set up permissions and domains.

Who has made the most impact on your impression of Cloud 9, and why?

Corey in Support, one of the originals, has made a great impact on my impression of Cloud 9. It is always fun to meet someone who enjoys the task of solving problems and completing projects as much as I do. Nothing is more irritating than someone who says, ”Well, that’s just the way it is.” Corey usually has a work-around or at least some technical explanation of the problem at hand. I usually end a call or email chat with an informed impression of some options to try, or at the very least, maintain some semblance of hope.

What would you say to someone considering switching their practice management software?

Having tried other software items, the overall package that Cloud 9 offers is the most consistently “Better-than-average” product out there for schedule flexibility, financial management, image capturing, and overall accessibility from anywhere on any device. Would I like their letter system to be word/google doc based for easier template editing? Yes. Would I like custom reports easier to make?  Yes. Would I like custom videos to share with patients? Yes. But would I trade their commitment to making the things that have already been developed and improved due to customer input for anything else? No way!

Are there any features besides the cloud-based functionality that you or your staff can’t live without?

We love the FREE integrated text and email reminders that come with Cloud 9. Having fluidity with sending messages, appointment reminders, and letters through patient email and texts has saved our office a number of headaches rescheduling due to COVID, nor’easters, and other general malfunctions of order in the universe.
